The Northeast Texas Habitat for Humanity is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Longview, Tx. Northeast Texas Habitat for Humanity partners with low-income families who are living in inadequate, unsafe, unaffordable and/or overcrowded housing to build simple, safe, and decent homes. The community provides volunteerism and donations in the form of construction labor, professional services, money, and materials to construct homes in a cost-efficient manner.

Donations

  • Donations of new construction materials such as electrical, plumbing, concrete, and roofing materials and/or skilled labor keep construction costs down. These savings are then passed on to the homeowners.
  • Donations of meals, snacks, sports drinks and bottled water for construction and ReStore volunteers, board and committee meetings and special events are needed year round. Call 903-236-0900 ext. 204 to provide a meal, snacks or drinks.
  • Donations of new and gently used construction materials, furniture and home decor are sold in our ReStore with the proceeds supporting the work of the organization.

Volunteering

Our volunteers build houses, raise funds, work in the administrative office, provide lunch for volunteers at the work site, work at our ReStore, serve as board members, staff various committees and do much, much more for the Longview community.
