We also support nonprofits!!! Read under "Services/Resources offered" to learn more! Chicken Salad Chick is a quick-service restaurant offering 13 flavors of chicken salad, pimiento, spicy pimento, egg salad, and turkey sandwiches.  You have 4 bread options, 5 options for sides, soups, desserts and beverages.  All of our food is made from scratch daily.

- **Networking, planning, and collaboration event space for nonprofits at no cost!**
- We host Celebrity Nights at our restaurant. Nonprofits can choose a day (Monday thru Thursday) and after 2pm-8pm.  You choose how many hours you would like to be there.  You and the organization can be greeters, you are welcome to sell any products other than food, you are welcome to place tip jars at the registers.  Your organization will take home 20% of all profits.  The more we both market, the more the organization makes.  We then cut you a check in 7 days from the date of the event.
- **We have an event space that seats up to 40 individuals that we offer to nonprofits for free.**  You can either choose a catered buffet meal that would be in the event space or each guest can go to the register.  Our meals start at $8.99 for a sandwich or scoop, 1 side and a cookie and pickle.

###### Event Space is FREE to nonprofits. Celebrity Nights are FREE, and the nonprofit receives 20% of all sales.

###### How It All Began… From Stacy’s Kitchen to Successful Franchise

Stacy Brown has always been on a quest to find the perfect chicken salad. One day she had an epiphany: Everyone’s idea of the perfect chicken salad is completely different! The stay-at-home mom set to work perfecting her own recipe, recruiting her family and neighbors to taste-test, before arriving at the one.

Once Stacy had the chicken salad that made her family and friends say “mmm, yes ma’am,” she started dropping off samples of her creation in teachers’ lounges and hair salons, and then began selling door-to-door. Orders poured in; Chicken Salad Chick was born. One day Stacy received a call from Stan with the Lee County Health Department, who told her the home business was illegal. With her chicken salad still in high demand, Stacy and her husband, Kevin Brown, were motivated to open up a carry-out only, humble yet honest-to-goodness restaurant where they could spread joy, enrich lives, and serve others. The rest, as they say, is history.

**The Future is Bright**
Under the leadership of CEO Scott Deviney, franchising has taken off in a major way. Environment and Nature preservation & Entertainment services

The Longview Arboretum and Nature Center is a privately managed arboretum garden in the heart of Longview. Like many other arboretums across our nation, a respectful partnership exists between the City of Longview and the Board of the Longview Arboretum and Nature Center regarding the sustainability of this massive endeavor. This public/private partnership allows for cultivation, development, private investment, and collaborative maintenance on 26-acres between the Longview Convention Complex and Grace Creek tributary.

Opened Saturday, November 2, 2019, the Longview Arboretum began it's role as a privately managed arboretum devoted to revealing the unique eco-system of East Texas in a beautiful and thoughtful manner. The mission to educate our community, stimulate the senses, and create a positive relationship to nature is one that the Board of Directors pursues for the future. Our executive director, Steven Chamblee directs the growth, plantings, events, and exhibits of the Longview Arboretum. Please stop by and say hello if you see him in the gardens.

This ever-growing garden is a living testament to a love of community, and the soul enriching quality of spending time in nature.

Longview Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a loss of function due to an injury or illness. We offer intensive, patient-focused, specialized rehabilitation services.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care to patients in their recovery journey. We offer customized, intensive rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Our hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

**For those acute patients who qualify, research shows inpatient rehabilitation hospitals are an effective setting for:**

- Walking and transferring independently again
- Going home quickly
- Short lengths of stay
- Receiving daily physician and nurse attention
- Minimizing hospital readmission

**Distinguishing Features of Inpatient Rehabilitation:**

- Daily accessible physician specially trained in rehab
- Low patient-to-rehab nurse ratio goal: 5-7 patients to one rehab nurse
- Intensive therapy with short lengths of stay
- Transfer to an inpatient rehabilitation hospital does not require full three-day stay at a short-term acute care hospital
- 15 hours/week of therapy required
