**Our services are provided based on income, but never more than $45.** The price for professional counseling in this area can easily cost $80 to $100 per session or more. Unfortunately, many of us cannot afford this price. As part of our mission to help anyone in need, Pathstones only asks that our clients pay according to a very affordable sliding scale that is based on household income.

Born from the prayers, hard work, and dedication of the Alpine Church of Christ in Longview, TX, Pathstones Counseling Center was created as an independent nonprofit Christian counseling center seeking to serve those who are hurting in the greater Longview area. 

At Pathstones, we ask God’s guidance in helping us each day to better understand what Jesus meant when he told us to love God totally and love others as we love ourselves. We hope to glorify God by providing counseling which will empower our clients, as well as ourselves, to become a little more like Him each day. We choose to respect a client’s personal beliefs.  We choose to invite, not invade.

Fatherheart is a safe place for an expectant mom to prepare for the birth of her unborn child. The home is nestled among East Texas’s piney woods on 40 acres in a peaceful country setting. Fatherheart has provided more than 600 young women a safe haven to mend the past and move into the future with renewed hope. 

Fatherheart is a protected environment where women find loving house staff that support them emotionally and spiritually through their pregnancies while providing practical training through:

- Life Skill Classes
- Birthing Classes
- Parenting Classes
- Doula services (birth coaches)
- Transportation to medical care
- Parenting preparation
- Adoption counseling. We encourage our moms, whether they choose to parent or place for adoption. We provide support and resources along the parenting or adoption journey.

Our residents can also continue to work on their education through a self-paced curriculum. We have meals as a family, attend church on Sunday morning together, enjoy evening game and movie nights, fun outings, devotions, Bible studies, and more.

Fatherheart residents experience community with other women in similar situations.

Fatherheart es un lugar seguro para que una futura mamá se prepare para el nacimiento de su hijo por nacer. La casa está ubicada entre los bosques de pinos del este de Texas en 40 acres en un entorno rural tranquilo. Fatherheart ha brindado a más de 600 mujeres jóvenes un refugio seguro para reparar el pasado y avanzar hacia el futuro con esperanza renovada.

Fatherheart es un entorno protegido donde las mujeres encuentran personal doméstico amoroso que las apoya emocional y espiritualmente durante sus embarazos mientras les brinda capacitación práctica a través de:

- Clases para padres
- Servicios de Doula (entrenadora de partos)
- Transporte a atención médica.
- Preparación para padres
- Asesoramiento en adopción. Alentamos a nuestras mamás, ya sea que elijan ser madres o dar un lugar en adopción. Brindamos apoyo y recursos a lo largo del proceso de crianza o adopción.

Nuestros residentes también pueden continuar trabajando en su educación a través de un plan de estudios a su propio ritmo. Comemos en familia, asistimos juntos a la iglesia los domingos por la mañana, disfrutamos de noches de juegos y películas, salidas divertidas, devocionales, estudios bíblicos y más.

Axia Mobile Pregnancy Resource Center Admin Assistant and Patient Advocate

**Our Story**

In 1982, YWAM missionary and visionary leader,  Beverly Kline, met a Tyler teenager who was fearful that she might be pregnant.  In seeking help for this young lady, Bev was directed by the health department to an 800 number for a free pregnancy test. Bev soon learned that the free test was provided by a Dallas abortion clinic, which utilized a local Tyler laboratory, that ultimately provided the lead for an abortion sale.  

Little did anyone know, that that one inquiry would result in closing the door to that clinic’s abortion access in Tyler! Since then, more than 40,000 free tests have been administered by Tyler’s Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center.  Today, in addition to pregnancy testing, the Center also performs free sonograms which drastically increases the survival rate of the unborn child. The Center’s Building Blocks program continues to minister to the women after a confirmed pregnancy with individual parent mentoring, childbirth education and doula services, to ensure the safe arrival of the baby. 

Fatherheart Maternity Home has provided more than 600 young women safe haven to mend the past and move into the future with a renewed hope. Babies are a great start to a new beginning. For many of the girls, a new beginning starts with an adoptive family for her baby, facilitated by the ministry’s Loving Alternative Adoption Agency.  More than 200 birthmothers have made the loving and sacrificial choice to prepare an adoption plan, and placed their precious baby into the arms of trusted adoptive parents. 

Loving Alternatives was also honored to utilize its agency license for a season, by helping the Smith County Family Court find Christian families for 100 children who were waiting in foster homes for an adoption. This ministry is called ForThe1.

Statistics tell us that many girls who age out of the Foster system are at a higher risk for trafficking and unplanned pregnancies. KEEPS Boutique combats these statistics by providing a unique shopping experience for teen girls in the State foster care system. This free shopping experience enables personal connection through “girls’ nights out” events, and a summer camp experience. Through these brief but impacting encounters the girls experience the touch of the Father’s love as the staff welcome them with warm embraces.  

The flagship of all the Living Alternatives ministries is the Pregnancy Resource Center.  The PRC is the where the heartbeat of Living Alternatives emanates from, and this heart is ENLARGING.  In partnership with the community, 1.2 million dollars was raised for a state-of-the-art facility called The AXIA Center that allowed Living Alternatives to reach more women in even more effective ways. Free pregnancy testing and sonograms are tools utilized to reach the target audience of abortion-vulnerable women with hope – and help – to make life changing decisions for their unborn child and their future.

Our goal is to foster year-round civic engagement within our communities and to inspire a sense of purpose and critical thinking. We do this by directly addressing the most pressing issues affecting us, including immigration, healthcare, and wealth inequality. At Este Poder we are cultivating a culture of civic engagement by empowering, educating, and mobilizing rural ETX.

**Our History**
The East Texas Aging & Disability Resource Center (ETxADRC) first began as a grant opportunity through the Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities Services (DADS), in 2008, now Texas Health and Human Services (THHS). Community Healthcore is the fiscal agent with support from:

**Serving the Needs of Homeless Women and Mothers with Children**
We have seen an increase at our Women & Families Shelter due to the lack of affordable housing, inadequate employment training and a troubled national economy. We offer food clothing, shelter, and gospel services. Hiway 80 Rescue Mission provides solace and hope in the face of abuse, addiction or financial problems. Our Women & Families Shelter provides beds for at-risk women and children, along with physical, emotional and spiritual support in a safe, family oriented environment.

 Single women and mothers work hard to get their lives on the right track and provide stability for themselves and their family. Hiway 80 offers these women a safe place to stay while providing them with the tools to help them rebuild their lives.

**Family Cottages**
Our family cottages have been a wonderful factor in contributing to the long-term success of moms in shelter. These cottages provide a secure space for families, and create a since of home and belonging. Children are enrolled in school so they can keep up with their education.

**Intensive 9-month Christ-centered Program**
Our New Direction Program is a nine-month, intensive, Christ centered program aimed at helping women gain victory over the abuse, abandonment, and neglect of the past. We want to help women end the cycle of homelessness and address specific needs in their lives. The New Direction discipleship program focuses on case management, Bible studies, and work therapy to encourage women to grow in their identity in Christ.

**Atendiendo las Necesidades de Mujeres Sin Hogar y Madres con Niños**
Hemos visto un aumento en nuestro Refugio para Mujeres y Familías debido a la falta de viviendas asequibles, capacitación laboral inadecuada y una economía nacional problemática. Ofrecemos alimentos, ropa, refugio y servicios evangelísticos. La Misión de Rescate Hiway 80 brinda consuelo y esperanza frente al abuso, la adicción o los problemas financieros. Nuestro Refugio para Mujeres y Familias ofrece camas para mujeres y niños en riesgo, junto con apoyo físico, emocional y espiritual en un entorno seguro y orientado a la familia.

Las mujeres solteras y madres trabajan arduamente para enderezar sus vidas y brindar estabilidad a sí mismas y a sus familias. Hiway 80 ofrece a estas mujeres un lugar seguro para quedarse mientras les proporciona las herramientas para ayudarlas a reconstruir sus vidas.

**Cabañas Familiares**
Nuestras cabañas familiares han sido un factor maravilloso para contribuir al éxito a largo plazo de las madres en el refugio. Estas cabañas proporcionan un espacio seguro para las familias y crean un sentido de hogar y pertenencia. Los niños están inscritos en la escuela para que puedan mantenerse al día con su educación.

**Programa Intensivo de 9 Meses Centrado en Cristo**
Nuestro Programa Nueva Dirección es un programa intensivo de nueve meses centrado en Cristo que tiene como objetivo ayudar a las mujeres a obtener la victoria sobre el abuso, el abandono y la negligencia del pasado. Queremos ayudar a las mujeres a romper el ciclo de la falta de vivienda y abordar necesidades específicas en sus vidas. El programa de discipulado Nueva Dirección se enfoca en la gestión de casos, estudios bíblicos y terapia laboral para alentar a las mujeres a crecer en su identidad en Cristo.

**Loving Others as Christ Commanded**

In 1955 the Hiway 80 Rescue Mission was established to provide food and shelter, and to share the gospel with homeless men in Longview. For over 65 years God has helped us grow this ministry to include an emergency shelter for women and families in Longview as well as two campuses in Tyler.

We feature Christ-centered recovery programs, and community outreach services. Through the New Creation Discipleship program, we teach people about Christ’s love and commands, arming them with the tools they need to overcome addictions, abusive situations, and many other difficulties they face in life. After completing the 10-month program, services are provided to assist them with achieving self-sufficiency.

Through Case Management, we assist homeless men and women in identifying and overcoming the obstacles that are keeping them in homelessness. Our case management team works with the individuals to create a plan to address those obstacles, secure and budget an income and locate healthy and appropriate housing.

What started in one, small building now spans 4 campuses in Longview and Tyler.

Operation True North is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Longview, Tx. We believe veterans and those who diligently serve our community have earned our support and respect. We are a faith-based organization that provides readily accessible counseling and trauma treatment for veterans, first responders, medical personnel, and their families. We are creating a strong community network that will help these individuals make the necessary connections to lead successful lives and bring healing to them and their families. Our goal is to provide services to those who have served or are serving our communities and our country. Our counselors have specific training and experiences that help establish a therapeutic connection with our clients.

**Eligibility Requirements:** Must be a veteran, first responder, or medical worker or be related/have a close relationship with one.

**Areas we serve:** In person Longview and surrounding areas, we offer televideo counseling sessions for people living in Texas..

Operation True North es una organización sin fines de lucro 501c3 ubicada en Longview, Tx. Creemos que los veteranos y aquellos que sirven diligentemente a nuestra comunidad se han ganado nuestro apoyo y respeto. Somos una organización religiosa que brinda asesoramiento y tratamiento de traumas de fácil acceso para veteranos, socorristas, personal médico y sus familias. Estamos creando una red comunitaria sólida que ayudará a estas personas a establecer las conexiones necesarias para llevar una vida exitosa y brindarles sanación a ellos y a sus familias. Nuestro objetivo es brindar servicios a quienes han servido o están sirviendo a nuestras comunidades y a nuestro país.
