Born from the prayers, hard work, and dedication of the Alpine Church of Christ in Longview, TX, Pathstones Counseling Center was created as an independent nonprofit Christian counseling center seeking to serve those who are hurting in the greater Longview area. 

At Pathstones, we ask God’s guidance in helping us each day to better understand what Jesus meant when he told us to love God totally and love others as we love ourselves. We hope to glorify God by providing counseling which will empower our clients, as well as ourselves, to become a little more like Him each day. We choose to respect a client’s personal beliefs. **What is FAYS?**

The Family And Youth Success (FAYS) Program offers free, preventative short-term services for youth and their families. In addition to assisting youth and their families in mastering new skills through skills-based training, our staff helps to improve attendance in school, to reduce the occurrence of running away, lessen family conflict, and cut delinquent behavior. Our main goal is to keep families together by strengthening and stabilizing family unity. FAYS also offers Universal Child Abuse Prevention information and workshops.

**¿Qué es FAYS?**

El Programa de Éxito Familiar y Juvenil (FAYS) ofrece servicios gratuitos de prevención a corto plazo para jóvenes y sus familias. Además de ayudar a los jóvenes y sus familias a dominar nuevas habilidades mediante capacitación basada en habilidades, nuestro personal ayuda a mejorar la asistencia a la escuela, a reducir la incidencia de fugas de la familia, a disminuir los conflictos familiares y a reducir la conducta delictiva. Nuestro objetivo principal es mantener unidas a las familias fortaleciendo y estabilizando la unidad familiar. FAYS también ofrece información y talleres sobre prevención universal del abuso infantil.

At Community Healthcore, we provide a place for recovery, resilience, and help empower individuals to reach their life goals.

We offer mental, emotional, and behavioral health services to East Texas residents.

By promoting dignity, our programs enable adults to live more independent and productive lives, children to be more resilient, and families to be healthier.

Through multiple East Texas locations, we have clinicians serving communities in 23 counties. They provide treatment, prevention, and outreach services to more than 16,000 children, families, and adults each year. Our various outreach locations also give us the ability to collaborate with community partners and school districts all across East Texas.

Community Healthcore is proudly certified as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) as we provide a comprehensive collection of services needed to create access, stabilize people in crisis, and provide the necessary treatment for those with the most serious, complex mental illnesses and substance use disorders in our communities.

As a Joint Commission Accredited Behavioral Health Care organization, we are committed to providing safe, high quality care, treatment, and services to everyone we serve.

Through multiple East Texas locations, we have clinicians serving communities in 23 counties. They provide treatment, prevention, and outreach services to more than 16,000 children, families, and adults each year. Our various outreach locations also give us the ability to collaborate with community partners and school districts all across East Texas.

**IMPORTANT RESOURCE**
During the Christmas Holiday, The Queens Care Organization helps to support families experiencing socio-economic hardship through our program initiative, The Queen's Christmas Wishlist Project.  Each year, we partner with a local school's backpack program to provide Christmas gifts to children in the program.  

The child fills out their Christmas wishlist and we work diligently to fulfill the wishlist of each child.  We also host a themed Christmas party for the families with food, games, music. arts & crafts, raffle drawings, prizes, and meal/food boxes.  The children are presented with their gifts during the party.  

We rely entirely on the support and generosity of family, friends, community partners, sponsorship, and donations to help make this possible.


**Our services are provided at no cost.**

**Eligibility Requirements:** Children must be in Grades 1st - 5th and be in a backpack program with a local school district, Boys and Girls Club, community center, or food bank.

**RECURSO IMPORTANTE**
Durante las vacaciones de Navidad, la Organización Queens Care ayuda a apoyar a familias que experimentan dificultades socioeconómicas a través de nuestra iniciativa de programa, The Queen's Christmas Wishlist Project. Cada año, nos asociamos con el programa de mochilas de una escuela local para proporcionar regalos de Navidad a los ninos en el programa.

El nino completa su lista de deseos navideños y trabajamos diligentemente para cumplir con la lista de deseos de cada niño. También organizamos una fiesta temática de Navidad para las familias con comida, juegos, música, artes y manualidades, sorteos, premios y cajas de comida. Los niños reciben sus regalos durante la fiesta.

Dependemos por completo del apoyo y la generosidad de la familia, amigos, socios comunitarios, patrocinadores y donaciones para hacer esto posible.

**Próximos eventos**
El segundo evento navideño anual de Queens CARE se llevará a cabo este año el 9 de diciembre. Nuestro tema este año es Un Grinchmas Cuidado de la Reina.  
Pronto anunciaremos qué escuela del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Longview se asociará con el Proyecto Lista de Deseos de Navidad de la Reina y comenzaremos nuestra recaudación de fondos. Habrá muchas formas en que puede ayudar a apoyar este proyecto.
Nos encantaría contar con su apoyo para ayudar a cumplir los deseos navideños de estos niños y hacer sonreír sus caras.

We are committed to helping improve the quality of life for children, families & individuals from underserved communities in the Longview area through community projects and programs.
