**Eligibility Requirements:** Participants must be at least 19 years old unless stipulated by the agreement of the facility. Participants who are 16-18 years old must have parental consent, proof of withdrawal from school, and a court order (16-year-olds only).

We carefully select our instructors for their ability to work with the adult learner. The curriculum ranges from basic-literacy level to twelfth-grade level instruction in reading, writing, social studies, science, and math. We will assess your current educational level, and then design a training program for you.

**Our programs are free! Registration is quick & easy.**

No fees are charged for attending Kilgore College Adult Education & Literacy (ESL, TxCHSE, Exam Preparation, or Intensive College Readiness) courses, however students must furnish their school supplies. Registration is easy and quick Classes are held continually throughout the year with registration during various months. Born from the prayers, hard work, and dedication of the Alpine Church of Christ in Longview, TX, Pathstones Counseling Center was created as an independent nonprofit Christian counseling center seeking to serve those who are hurting in the greater Longview area. 

At Pathstones, we ask God’s guidance in helping us each day to better understand what Jesus meant when he told us to love God totally and love others as we love ourselves. We hope to glorify God by providing counseling which will empower our clients, as well as ourselves, to become a little more like Him each day. We choose to respect a client’s personal beliefs. The East Texas Angel Network is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Longview, Tx. founded by Famous East Texas native country music singer, Neal McCoy, and his wife, Melinda, who both wanted to support the families of children with severe needs. Every donation, sponsorship, and advertisement for our annual events is a major portion of the fundraising for the families enrolled in our network. Our annual fall fundraiser includes a golf tournament, sponsor’s dinner, and a benefit concert. Neal is the featured artist for the concert along with many friends from the entertainment industry who donate their time to the cause. Eighty-five cents of every dollar received goes directly to the families assisted by the East Texas Angel Network. The special guests donate time and travel expenses, while local hotels, merchants and restaurants donate goods and services. The only expenses paid out of monies raised are for necessities to facilitate the fundraising event, and paying the salaries of ETAN personnel.

Being unable to fund major medical expenses, the network may pay for travel, food, utilites, rent, and car expensees. In almost all cases the network pays directly to suppliers. We also make referrals for things outside of our capability (e.g. van conversions, wheel chair ramps, etc.).

**Our History**
For over 30 years, Caring & Sharing has served Longview and the surrounding communities by providing food, clothing, and household items to those in need. Starting in 1989 as a small ministry with a few volunteers from Pine Tree Church of Christ, we served about 100 clients from a small downtown location. Alpine Church of Christ soon joined in the mission, and it has continued to grow in strength and scope ever since, serving thousands of households throughout Gregg and parts of Harrison, Upshur, and Rusk counties.

Over the years, many local Churches of Christ have joined in making Caring & Sharing a success, including Hallsville, Longview, Cotton Street, West Mountain, and Rollins Addition. We also enjoy a working relationship with the East Texas Food Bank and Feeding America as a” Partner Agency,” allowing access to an extensive network of food donations and purchasing options to maximize our stewardship of the resources God has entrusted us with. We hope you will participate in this ministry through donations, volunteering, or prayer.
