EmpowerNet was founded on 12/17/2023 to help thrust entrepreneurs and small business owners forward through connection, collaboration and community engagement. It's purpose is to provide resources to small business owners while also giving them a platform to shine. EmpowerNet also aims to host more events for the community including women-led expos, small business workshops, networking mixers and more.

Eligibility Requirements: Must be a small business owner, entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneur.

Costs:

• Vendor Fees: $60 - $250
• Consultations: $50 - $75
• Branding/Marketing Package: varies based on clients needs and budget

Areas we serve: Counties: Smith, Freestone, Limestone, Navarro, Cherokee, Anderson, & Leon. All of East Texas. Also, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, San Antonio, & Austin.

Current Needs - Please call us or email us to get involved!

• Volunteers for events
• Monetary donations to implement training programs
• Venues or space donations to host events. We host lots of community events to give entrepreneurs a chance to showcase their talents and promote their businesses. The funding goes into the costs for that and hosting business workshops for them such as financial literacy training, legal documentation filing workshops, media training and it pays for the speakers and panelists who come speak to them.
• We need professional clothing for students and job seekers.
