Buckner Children & Family Services in Longview, Tx is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Buckner offers a wide variety of services to children, families and single parents in the Longview area with the goal of building the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in life and fulfill their potential. This profile highlights our BUCKNER HOPES program. The Buckner HOPES program is an in-home parenting education, developmental assessments, resources and referrals, and family well-being support.
Our goals include:

Parenting is hard even without extra life stressors. But when a family is going through challenges, it's OK to ask for help. Buckner International offers Healthy Outcomes through Prevention and Early Support (HOPES) to families. Parents who are expecting a baby or have a child up to age 5 can benefit from free assistance through Buckner HOPES. Some of the advantages of services include:
- Access to a parent educator that specializes in early childhood
- One-on-one sessions to discuss your specific family challenges
- A customized plan to help parents and child(ren) to be successful
- Child developmental assessments
Our services are provided at no cost.
Eligibility Requirements: Prenatal mothers and families with children 0-5 years old.
