Operation True North is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Longview, Tx. We believe veterans and those who diligently serve our community have earned our support and respect. We are a faith-based organization that provides readily accessible counseling and trauma treatment for veterans, first responders, medical personnel, and their families. We are creating a strong community network that will help these individuals make the necessary connections to lead successful lives and bring healing to them and their families. Our goal is to provide services to those who have served or are serving our communities and our country. Our counselors have specific training and experiences that help establish a therapeutic connection with our clients.

Hours of Operation: Groups are every Thursday from 6:00-8:00, counseling is by appointment only

Services/Resources offered at OTN

We accept several major insurances but also have cash pay rate and sliding fee scale.

Eligibility Requirements: Must be a veteran, first responder, or medical worker or be related/have a close relationship with one.

Areas we serve: In person Longview and surrounding areas, we offer televideo counseling sessions for people living in Texas..

On certain, we have bilingual staff on-site. Please call us ahead of time.

  • Job & Volunteer Opportunities We are looking for therapists/social workers/clinicians interested in working with the veteran/first responder/medical worker community. We are also looking for volunteers to provide child care during our groups, or meals for our groups, or volunteer to help with our upcoming events. Our Vision Our organization was created to meet unmet needs. We see the struggles and hardships our veterans, first responders, and medical workers experience and we want to support them and their families as best we can. Asking for help can sometimes be the most difficult step. We would like to make it as stress-free as possible for these individuals and families to get the assistance they need.
