  • CHILDREN’S MINISTRY PRESCHOOL: BIRTH - 4 YEAR OLDS and KIDS: KINDERGARTEN - 5TH GRADE
  • SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY: Our special needs ministry, Special Blessings, was created to provide an opportunity for your loved ones to be a part of a life group on Sundays and/or Wednesdays while you are attending worship or life group, or volunteering in another ministry.
  • STUDENT MINISTRY: New Beginnings Student Ministry is a place where Junior High and High School students connect with God, with other students, and committed leaders who want to help them follow Jesus. We exist to help awaken and inspire students to live their lives for what matters most, the fame of Jesus!
  • COLLEGE MINISTRY: We strive to connect college students to biblical community, equip them to make disciples, and send them to proclaim the gospel on campus, in the city, and around the world. Through church membership, on-campus Life Groups, monthly events, equipping forums, and retreats, college students grow as disciples for the glory of Jesus. College worships with the Longview congregation on Sundays. Join us!
  • SUNDAY LUNCH - ONCE A MONTH | 12:30PM Once a month, we meet in the Student Building immediately after the 11 a.m. service where our adult Life Groups provide food and give our college students an opportunity to connect with each other as well as the staff and leaders of New Beginnings.
  • LATE NIGHT - THURSDAYS | 8PM: Every Thursday, college students and young adults across East Texas gather at the Mission House on our Longview campus for worship, relationship building, and to discuss various topics that all Christians face.
  • ADULT LIFE GROUPS: Life group is a great place to get connected and grow in relationship with others. Our groups spend time in God’s Word through sermon-based curriculum. Each group is encouraged to study the Bible weekly, hang-out together monthly, and serve together quarterly.
  • COUNSELING: All of us deal with sin, suffering, sickness, and sorrow in big and small ways – and we were not designed to struggle alone. Our counselors are equipped to provide gospel-centered hope and help for the following:
  1. Premarital Counseling - For the engaged couple preparing for marriage.
  2. Marriage Counseling - For the married couple in a difficult season.
  3. Parenting and Family Counseling - For parents who feel stuck.
  4. Individual Counseling - For individuals struggling for various reasons, including crisis, trauma, grief, addiction, depression, anxiety, anger, etc.

New Beginnings provides counseling to its members at no cost and $25 per session for non-members. If you or someone you love would like to schedule an appointment, please email jarnold@nbbctx.org or call the church office at 903-759-5552 to request an appointment.

  • CONFERENCES & EVENTS: Counseling and Family Discipleship Ministry offers gospel-centered parenting and marriage events throughout the year covering various topics to equip and aid parents. Our goal is to help parents develop a gospel-centered home, a healthy and thriving marriage, and to raise kids who faithfully walk with Jesus.
  • COURSES: The Exchange - The Exchange is a discipleship journey to uncover the lies and deceit that are holding believers hostage in a mediocre Christian life. The Exchange provides participants the opportunity to confront these beliefs and truly be transformed by the renewing of their mind; by EXCHANGING lies for the truth. Check our calendar for the next offering of The Exchange or contact Justin Arnold at jarnold@nbbctx.org for more information.

New Beginnings Baptist Church

ABOUT US From the first day we met in lawn chairs at the home of Lynn & Linda Spruiell in Longview, Texas in June 1983, until now, the mission of New Beginnings has been to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to the lost.

Over the years, New Beginnings has continued to grow and reach families. We have experienced exciting changes and additions in our ministries, a growing staff, and expanded across East Texas. New Beginnings is ONE church, in TWO locations, with THREE Campuses: Longview Campus, Gilmer Campus, and NB Español (meets at the Longview location). We pray for more campuses to come! God continues to bless our church.

In short, New Beginnings is Jesus-ruled, elder-led, staff-directed, deacon-served, and congregationally approved and accountable.

WHAT WE BELIEVE As its doctrinal statement, this church subscribes to the “Baptist Faith and Message” as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The Ordinances of the church are Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
